Mahi'ai

We encourage and support the cultivation of food as close to home as possible. Through mahina tracking, sharing observations, and collaborating on securing different Hawaiian varieties of food plants, this hālau hopes to bring a sense of confidence and security to our 'ohana.

Pi'olualani

Molokai is well known for their hospitality. Whether hosting cultural exchange students, canoe clubs, volunteers or 'ohana, we strive to always be well provisioned in order to open the doors so wide, "even Ha'eha'ekū the giant does not need to bow his head to enter. Our next major group to visit us will be the 'ohana of Rotorua, Aotearoa in June 2026.

Waipilihoa

This is a space for discussions around water behaviors, quality, presence, movement and relationships. Transcending water rights, we seek to examine kanaka's responsibilities to wai and host 'aha kūkā focused on finding ways to make it safer for wai to move in our realm.
