Ongoing Efforts
Aloha Kalaupapa
We support the education and data collection to assist in the transition planning for Kalawao County. By hosting kūkā and participating in meetings on every level, we hope to build competence and confidence in the process.
Mālama Mana'e Hub
Kona low storms brought heavy impacts to Molokai. Waipilihoa continues to aid in the recovery by securing resources, administering aid, providing outreach education, and simply showing aloha to all. Collaborating with other community members and agencies, we have been able to provision dozens of 'ohana on the east side with tools to ensure safety and health.
Mālama Molokai
Higher level advocacy for storm recovery includes securing support for our cultural piko - our food producers, cultural practitioners and medicine makers.
